Kolhu-extracted’ mustard oil contains anti-cancer compound: Patanjali study
A study done by the team of Scientists at Patanjali Research Foundation has uncovered the presenceof Aurantiamide Acetate, a compound known for its anti-cancer properties, in mustard seed oil, using the traditional Indian ‘Kolhu’ method.
The 'Kolhu' method involves extracting oil using a wooden mortar and pestle, a technique deeply rooted in Indian tradition.
The publication of these findings in 'Food Chemistry' serves as a rigorous scientific endorsement of the health benefits associated with 'Kolhu'-extracted mustard oil.
